Canada’s Premier Show Band, Music Express, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Nino Palazzolo to the position of managing Director. Mr. Palazzolo will assume this position immediately with the full support of the Board of Directors, his executive and members.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Palazzolo served for 12 years in the position of Vocal Director and has played a very significant role in shaping the dynamic stage presence and musical ability of this talented group.
“Our mission remains clear – to bring the art of music and entertainment to our community” says Palazzolo. He adds, “not only will we do this through our energetic performances, but we will also accomplish this through the addition of a new community outreach program targeted at young children”.
This year marks the beginning of the groups 24th year as a non-profit organization serving the Windsor and Essex County community. Versatile in many styles of music, Music Express offers captivating renditions of Broadway tunes, popular music, jazz, rhythm and blues, rock and roll and county. Most notable is it’s highly inspirational gospel shows, which have raised significant funds for churches throughout our community. In addition to performances at the Cleary’s Chrysler Theatre and the Villanova Festival Theatre, this dynamic show band has entertained audiences in the United States, the People’s Republic of China, Scotland, England and Mexico.
The Music Express 2001/2002 season is already jammed packed with a variety of benefit performances in and around our community. For information about our organization, our upcoming events or for an interview with our new Director, Nino Palazzolo, please contact our Public Relations Department.
